HTTP connects

TCP connections made to the web gateway

Search forms

Lookups at http://ftpsearch.ntnu.no/ftpsearch without a specified search keyword. A search form is returned.

Queries

Lookup at http://ftpsearch.ntnu.no/ftpsearch with a specified keyword, e.g. http://ftpsearch.ntnu.no/ftpsearch?query=pkzip. A search result is returned. Typically result of the search button being depressed.

HTML files

Lookups other places under http://ftpsearch.ntnu.no, resulting in a HTML file being sent back.

GIF files

Lookups other places under http://ftpsearch.ntnu.no, resulting in a GIF file being sent back.

Save Config

The "Save Configuration" button in the search form has been depressed. Only avaiable on clients which understand HTTP cookies.

Reset Config

The "Reset Configuration" button in the search form has been depressed. Only avaiable on clients which understand HTTP cookies.

Updating

Lookups that starts as a Query, but due to the server being updated gives an error message instead of a search result.

Timeout

Lookups where the connection to the client is lost, and then timed out by the server.

Abort

Lookups where the client aborts the connection.

HTTP bytes

Number of bytes sent back to the clients over the TCP connection.

Prospero GWCount

Prospero SrvCount

Connections to the FTP search server coming from a known WWW gateway, or which contains a navigation request. Most of these come from this Web Gateway.

Rate WC/Srv

The rate between the "WebCount" and "Prospero SrvCount" columns, used to estimate "WebCount" before February 29th 1996.
