ASN.1 framework

The <B>pysnmp.asn1</B> package implements a generic framework for representing
ASN.1 (Abstract Syntax Notation One) data types as Python objects.

The ASN.1, BER and other standards have been developed by the
<A HREF="http://www.itu.int/">International Telecomunication Union</A> (ITU)
and can now be freely <A HREF="http://asn1.elibel.tm.fr/en/standards/">
downloaded</A>. There is also a 
<A HREF="ftp://ftp.rsa.com/pub/pkcs/ascii/layman.asc">freely available</A>
Layman's Guide to a Subset of ASN.1, BER, and DER.
